General Requirements
- Bachelor Degree/Masters in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Hospital Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience preferably within healthcare industry, PR, event planning or related field
- Experience working in organizing/coordinating hospital events is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Job Specification
- Develop and implement a comprehensive public relations strategy aligned with the hospital's overall vision and mission.
- Anticipate potential public relations challenges and proactively develop crisis communication plans to manage them effectively.
- Identify and leverage external partnerships with community organizations, patient advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to build trust and brand awareness.
- Utilize data and analytics to track and measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Utilize social media listening tools to monitor online conversations about the hospital and address concerns promptly.
- Lead the development and implementation of a strong digital communication strategy, including an engaging website, active social media presence, and email marketing campaigns.
- Inform staff about institutional objectives and policies and serve as a bridge to transfer information between top management and staff.
- Determine viewpoints and needs of staff with regard to hospital policies using surveys.
- Organize activities to increase the morale and motivation of staff.
- Prepare and disseminate press releases with partnering media agencies.
- Represent Tree Top Hospital by holding press conferences and attending interviews.
- Deliver updates about new developments within the hospital to media agencies and the general public, including new treatment options, high-profile medical accomplishments, as well as the expansion efforts.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with the media.
- Arrange interviews with hospital administrators to ensure accurate representation of hospital administration.
- Identify ways to improve and maintain the hospitals positive image for the public.
- Provide opportunities for staff to convey their wishes or complaints to the top management by utilizing formal or informal communication channels.
- Analyze media coverage of the hospital to understand public relations policies in relation to potential crisis situations.
- Organize in-service training seminars for personnel.
- Establish an information desk to answer patients questions and develop reports.
- Train personnel in the information desk unit on appropriate customer interaction processes.
- Evaluate incoming complaints and work alongside hospital administrators to find solutions.
- Deploy periodical customer satisfaction questionnaires that provide information about the public perception of Tree Top Hospital.
- Organize informative seminars and conferences about Tree Top Hospitals commitment to promoting public health.
