General Requirements

  • Degree in Finance and Accounts or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience; Prior work background in a hospital or in managing pricing processes in a healthcare industry an advantage
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Billing Process Knowledge
  • Local and Foreign Insurance Knowledge

Job Specification

  • Manage the day-to-day pricing activities
  • Revise prices if and when required (quarterly / annually) and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue goals
  • Develop strategies, policies, procedures and processes required for pricing
  • Price revisions in required intervals in accordance with pricing policies and necessities
  • Manage and complete necessary research, information, data and coordination required for pricing activities
  • Computation of costing and pricing for procedures, packages and surgeries
  • Review of insurance coverages and mapping of services for insurances as required
  • Data analysis, review and reporting
  • Continuously evaluate pricing strategy performance and propose recommendations
  • Expand knowledge and experience through regular engagement with key stakeholders to understand business processes, policies, strategies, and evolving business trends
  • Staff training for business continuity
  • Manage and evaluate various costing, pricing, purchases and other required proposals
  • Project management for pricing activities and other feasibility assessments
  • Support month-end close/ year-end close, and reporting process
  • Completion of any other additional tasks assigned by the head of department from time to time
