MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTIONIST

General Requirements

• General Certificate Examination (A Level)
• Experience as an assistant in Radiology (Ultrasound) will be an added advantage
• Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
• Ability to work and thrive in pressure situations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office

Job Specification

• Send studies to tele radiology, provide patient history and clinical notes in the tele radiology portal
• Prepare CDs of CT and MRI studies
• Submit Work Permit health screening forms to concerned departments
• Upload all radiology consent forms to patient documents and submit hard copy to Medical Records department
• Arrange appointments for radiology procedures for In-patients as per request
• Receive phone calls and communicate properly to concerned persons
• Send Imaging statistics and procedure data to Chief Radiographer on a daily basis
• Assist Radiologists for ultrasound procedures and type reports with Radiologist
