SENIOR INTERNAL AUDIT EXECUTIVE

General Requirements

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field (Relevant MQA level 7 qualification)
• CIA, ACCA and CIMA preferred or actively pursuing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Internal Audit, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Proficiency in analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong understanding of the IIA Standards and Code of Ethics

Job Specification

• Assist in the development of the Annual Risk-based Internal Audit Plan
• Lead and execute assigned audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting, ensuring adherence to the IIA Standards
• Prepare audit logs, engagement letter and memorandum of audit plan as per the Internal Audit Department SOP/Manual
• Conduct assigned audits fieldwork in accordance with the approved audit plan and established audit testing procedures under the supervision of Internal Audit Department Head
• Complete fieldwork and prepare a summary of audit findings to review with the Head of the Internal Audit Department. Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit reports
• Complete draft audit report reviews with Internal Audit Department Head and communicate audit report to respective departments, obtain departments comments for audit reports, arrange audit exit meetings and complete the formalities
• Support the Internal Audit Department Head to communicate audit results to management, including senior management and the Audit Committee, as appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit
