General Requirements

  • Post-graduate in Obstetrics and Gynecology with minimum 2 years of sub specialization in high risk Feto-Maternal Medicine recognized by the Medical Board in the country of origin
  • Minimum 4 years experience post specialty
  • Documented experience in Feto-Maternal Perinatologist
  • Documented experience in attending deliveries (spontaneous vaginal deliveries, assisted deliveries with vacuum or forceps and cesarean section)
  • Experience in Laparoscopic surgery is an added advantage
  • Experience in international and multi-cultural environment is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Ability to work autonomously and discuss clinical cases with the other members of the team
  • Collaborate with all hospital professionals to form a high performing medical team

Job Specification

  • Provide specialized care for high-risk pregnancies, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of maternal and fetal complications
  • Provide all types of consulting related to women's reproductive system, including infertility problems
  • Perform advanced diagnostic procedures such as detailed ultrasounds, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and fetal echocardiography
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of mothers and their unborn children
  • Offer preconception counseling and risk assessment for patients with complex medical or genetic conditions
  • Collaborate closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, genetic counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor fetal development and maternal health using state-of-the-art technology and evidence-based practices
  • Provide patient and family education, addressing concerns and explaining diagnostic findings and treatment options
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making regarding patient care
  • Stay updated on advancements in maternal-fetal medicine and incorporate innovative techniques into clinical practice
  • Contribute to hospital quality improvement programs, research initiatives, and staff education efforts
