General Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Registered Nurse at a Licensing Authority
- Minimum 7 years of nursing practice in a 150-bedded hospital within the last 5 years
- Good English communication skills
- Minimum score of IELTS Academic 5.5 or OET minimum score C (for expats)
- Previous experience in a senior position
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
Job Specification
- Promote effective team building strategies
- Communicate and ensure strong positive relationships with all staff and stakeholders
- Responsible for the coordination of services in nursing to inpatient/outpatient services in the absence of managers or supervisors
- Analyze and assess bed status of the hospital and assign beds
- Initiate interventions to prevent or solve clinical problems
- Act as a role model and a senior clinical resource for all hospital staff
- Workforce utilization optimization when needed for the efficient operation continuity
- Ensure rostering practices are appropriate across all shifts
- Identify and ensure that appropriate clinical resources are available
- Supervisory role that is accountable for efficient and effective management of operations
- Central liaison for nursing and hospital
