General Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse at a Licensing Authority
  • Minimum 7 years of nursing practice in a 150-bedded hospital within the last 5 years
  • Good English communication skills
  • Minimum score of IELTS Academic 5.5 or OET minimum score C (for expats)
  • Previous experience in a senior position
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills

Job Specification

  • Promote effective team building strategies
  • Communicate and ensure strong positive relationships with all staff and stakeholders
  • Responsible for the coordination of services in nursing to inpatient/outpatient services in the absence of managers or supervisors
  • Analyze and assess bed status of the hospital and assign beds
  • Initiate interventions to prevent or solve clinical problems
  • Act as a role model and a senior clinical resource for all hospital staff
  • Workforce utilization optimization when needed for the efficient operation continuity
  • Ensure rostering practices are appropriate across all shifts
  • Identify and ensure that appropriate clinical resources are available
  • Supervisory role that is accountable for efficient and effective management of operations
  • Central liaison for nursing and hospital
