About the job Aftersales & Network Development Director
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Aftersales & Network Development Director to join our client's team and lead the development and optimization of aftersales services across the Middle East region. In this critical role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the pre-sale and after-sales operations, ensuring that customer satisfaction is prioritized while developing the regional network and managing the roll-out of advanced technologies like electric vehicles and connected services.
Key Responsibilities:
Aftersales Leadership:
Lead the aftersales function within the authorized dealer/importer network, ensuring alignment with organizational growth objectives and top-tier customer service.
Develop and implement regional after-sales strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Lead, manage, and mentor the aftersales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and high-performance standards.
Oversee key performance metrics related to service quality, parts & accessories sales, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with customer experience teams to resolve any vehicle owner complaints and inquiries.
Monitor and manage logistics and inventory performance, ensuring efficient stock management and supply chain processes.
Drive marketing initiatives and promotions to boost after-sales services and parts sales.
Oversee the execution of vehicle recall campaigns and ensure timely and effective resolution.
Network Development:
Establish and maintain a network of authorized dealers and service facilities across the Middle East, ensuring brand compliance and operational excellence.
Spearhead initiatives for network growth, including facility upgrades, new dealership openings, and infrastructure development.
Manage the dealer onboarding process, including contract negotiations and setting up new partnerships.
Prepare the dealer network for the integration of electric vehicles by ensuring appropriate infrastructure and training.
Lead the implementation of connected vehicle services in the region, including technical setup and business case development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; master's degree is preferred.
12 to 20 years of experience in the automotive aftersales industry, including at least 5 years in wholesale distribution environments.
Proven leadership in managing after-sales functions and expanding dealer networks.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage effectively at the senior management level.
In-depth knowledge of the Middle Eastern automotive market and customer service expectations.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
