JOB SUMMARY / PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. The Loan Manager is generally tasked to ensure that all set goals of management in terms of loan releases are met, putting into consideration the policies, guidelines, procedures and internal controls of the bank as regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

  1. The Loan Manager establishes agent base to generate loan applications and ensures attainment of goals set by management in terms of loan releases.

  1. The Loan Manager shall ensure adherence to existing internal control procedures and regulatory policies while maintaining the highest quality of service and ethical standards.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Management:
  1. Supervises loan center operations including:
  1. Cleanliness and orderliness.
  1. Efficient use of supplies, equipment and facilities.
  1. Effective handling of clients and Bank Loan Agents.
  1. Adherence to the Banks and regulatory policies, guidelines and procedures.
  1. Develop and motivate personnel to meet performance standards.
  1. Ensures personnel under his supervision performs what is expected of them.
  1. Assess and provide feedback on personnels performance in compliance to banks policies.
  1. Establish and maintain a pool of agents, have a good working relationship to gain their loyalty to the Bank.
  1. Maintain a solid pool of account sources to sustain target releases for the month.

  1. Operations:
  1. Formulate and implement strategies to help meet monthly targets and sustain good business.
  1. Generate new accounts set by management according to targets.
  1. Recruit, develop and maintain agents.
  1. Keep the agents on active status by setting regular meetings on a periodic basis to update them of the company and markets new developments, and hear them out if they have inputs in their business dealings with the Bank.
  1. Explore and provide resolution to address clients and agents concern in doing business with the Bank.

  1. Have at least 5 newly accredited Bank Loan Agents per month
  1. Activation of Accredited Loan Agents
  1. Maintain at least 15 Active Agents per month

  1. Received Accounts
  1. Have at least 25 new accounts received per month
  1. Account Turn-ins
  1. Have at least 5 accounts submitted for approval per week
  1. Loan Releases
  1. Amount Released
  1. Must meet target release per month set by management.
  1. Number of Accounts Released
  1. Have at least 10 Accounts released.
  1. Product Mix
  1. At least 60% of the total amount of releases must come from regular accounts

  1. Custodianship:
  1. Proper use and care of office equipment, facilities and supplies of their loan center.
  1. Ensures that all files of the bank loan applications, CAM, internal memorandums and other confidential files are kept safe and secured from agents or anyone not related to the bank.

  1. Monitoring and Reporting:
  1. Reports daily activities and outputs to Area Managers for accountability.
  1. Monitors loan center operations especially received accounts, their status, and agent/client concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

:

Must possess at least a Bachelor degree in Marketing / Business Studies / Administration / Management/ Banking and Finance or its equivalent.

Experience

:

Preferably 3 years of extensive experience in Sales and Marketing from a reputable banking/ financial services industry.
