About the Company

Our client is an established food manufacturing company based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with multiple production facilities.

The Role

This senior leadership role carries responsibility for engineering operations across multiple production facilities, with direct influence over facility performance, capital investment decisions and team development across a multi-site portfolio. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates who are not local to Sioux Falls.

What You Will Do

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to multi-plant engineering teams across the region.
• Oversee capital project planning, budgeting and execution at multiple facilities.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Partner with plant operations leadership to align engineering resources with production goals.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental and regulatory standards across all sites.
• Develop and mentor site-level engineering managers and technical staff.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce cost.
• Manage relationships with contractors, equipment vendors and external engineering resources.

What You Bring

• Food manufacturing background (required)
• Experience leading engineering teams across multiple plant locations
• Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical or process engineering
• Track record managing capital projects from concept through commissioning
• Familiarity with food safety regulations including FSMA, HACCP and GMP
• Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred
