Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel vehicles and waste collection equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, suspension, brake, and engine systems
- Complete repairs on refuse trucks, roll-off trucks, front-end loaders, and support fleet vehicles
- Use diagnostic software and scan tools to identify mechanical issues
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Ministry and company standards
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
- Support emergency breakdown repairs when required
Qualifications
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician License
- Strong experience with heavy-duty diesel equipment
- Experience with hydraulics and electrical diagnostics preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license required
- DZ or AZ license considered an asset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Safety-first mindset
