310T Truck & Coach Technician (Waste Management Fleet)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel vehicles and waste collection equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, suspension, brake, and engine systems
  • Complete repairs on refuse trucks, roll-off trucks, front-end loaders, and support fleet vehicles
  • Use diagnostic software and scan tools to identify mechanical issues
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Ministry and company standards
  • Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
  • Support emergency breakdown repairs when required

Qualifications

  • Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician License
  • Strong experience with heavy-duty diesel equipment
  • Experience with hydraulics and electrical diagnostics preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license required
  • DZ or AZ license is considered an asset
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Safety-first mindset
