About Crustdata

Crustdata builds APIs that give AI agents real-time access to data from sources of truth, a gateway to the internet for AI agents. It serves 150+ enterprise customers, is close to $13M ARR, grew 10x in 2025 (the fastest-growing company in the fall 2024 YC batch) and is profitable.

Crustdata is backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, SV Angel, A Capital and Liquid 2 Ventures.

The Role

Crustdata is hiring two Account Executives to close mid-market and enterprise deals from $50K to $500K ACV (sweet spot $50K-$200K), full cycle across inbound and outbound. The motion is conversion-heavy, with strong inbound distributed across a team of three reps and a GTM engineer. Sales cycles run from same-week closes to year-long deals, averaging 60-90 days, with minimal travel.

What You Will Do

  • Run full-cycle sales: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation and close on $50K-$500K ACV deals.
  • Convert high-volume inbound interest into closed deals.
  • Run outbound to expand into target accounts.
  • Stay flexible across deal sizes and segments.
  • Attend 2-3 conferences a year and occasional customer meetings.
  • Help build the sales motion as Crustdata scales toward Series A and beyond.

What You Bring

  • 2-7 years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales with consistent quota attainment at $50K-$500K ACV
  • Mid-market and/or enterprise AE experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals (SMB-only backgrounds are not a fit)
  • Speed, hustle and flexibility
  • A clear signal of exceptional capability, such as a strong academic record or standout achievement
  • A stable tenure pattern

Nice to Have

  • Top-of-team performance (#1 or #2 on the team)
  • Early-stage sales impact as a true first salesperson or founder
  • A technical-adjacent background (STEM, sales engineering, selling APIs or databases)
  • SDR-to-AE progression

Benefits

Uncapped commission (about 2x base at OTE) and a small relocation package for candidates outside San Francisco.
