Rilla invented the virtual ridealong, turning offline, in-person sales conversations into actionable data for industries such as roofing, HVAC, pharma, retail and CPG. Its AI works at the intersection of speech recognition, mobile audio and large-scale distributed systems, including real-time coaching in noisy multi-speaker environments.

Founded in 2019 and backed by GV, Rilla went from $0 to $40M+ ARR in under three years with 15%+ month-over-month growth and 170%+ net revenue retention, and is already profitable. It has about 110 people, including roughly 20 engineers, and has raised a $60M Series B.

The Role

Rilla is hiring software engineers (1-3 years) who architect and ship features across the stack at high speed, building end-to-end workflows, taking them to production and solving real-world problems at scale. As an early technical steward you will raise the bar for code quality and decision-making, and your scope will grow as fast as the company.

What You Will Do

• Build high-quality products very fast across React, React Native, TypeScript and Python.
• Build new features from scratch as the technical roadmap moves forward.
• Talk with customers and build solutions for their real problems with minimal explicit planning.
• Set a high bar for code quality and technical decisions as the engineering team scales.
• Help recruit future engineers.

What You Bring

• 1-3 years building software, with strong pedigree signals and clear entrepreneurial drive
• Experience at a talent-dense startup or building 0-to-1 products
• React, React Native, TypeScript and Python
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure

• CS degree from a top university
• Deploying infrastructure on AWS
