The Role

This site-level leadership role leads capital and facility improvement projects across the plant, with direct impact on operational efficiency, safety and long-term infrastructure.

What You Will Do

• Plan, manage and execute capital improvement and facility projects from concept through completion.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance and quality teams to align project scope with production requirements.
• Develop project budgets, timelines and resource plans; track progress and report to plant leadership.
• Manage relationships with contractors, equipment vendors and engineering firms.
• Ensure projects comply with food safety standards, regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement engineering solutions to recurring operational or equipment issues.
• Support capacity expansion, line upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop project engineering staff where applicable.

What You Bring

• Food manufacturing background (required)
• Experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling and contractor oversight
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and GMP environments
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to run multiple projects at once
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or a related engineering discipline preferred

Nice to Have

• PMP certification or equivalent experience
