What You Do:
- Project Management: Plan and execute engineering projects that meet customer requirements and exceed expectations.
- Innovative Design: Evaluate mechanical systems and products through research and application of principles in mechanics, hydraulics, and materials.
- Feasibility & Testing: Design feasibility studies and testing methods to confirm system and product capabilities.
- Product Development: Create mechanical products tailored to customer specifications.
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine manufacturing processes, focusing on cost reduction and process enhancement by designing and modifying equipment for fabrication, assembly, and installation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure system and product quality through meticulous testing methods.
- Data Analysis: Prepare comprehensive product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Customer Support: Provide detailed engineering information by responding to questions and requests.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain product and company reputation by adhering to government regulations.
- Database Management: Maintain system and product databases through programming and data entry.
What Were Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Experience: Heavy equipment engineering experience is a plus; open to new graduates and those with up to 5+ years of experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced computer skills, proficiency in Excel, and design software systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities for effective interaction with all internal and external contacts.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and technical skills to understand business practices and recommend appropriate automation opportunities.
- Cost Accounting: Functional understanding of cost accounting principles.
- Innovation: Must be an innovator who embraces lean enterprise principles and practices.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and processes.
