What You Do:

• Project Management: Plan and execute engineering projects that meet customer requirements and exceed expectations.
• Innovative Design: Evaluate mechanical systems and products through research and application of principles in mechanics, hydraulics, and materials.
• Feasibility & Testing: Design feasibility studies and testing methods to confirm system and product capabilities.
• Product Development: Create mechanical products tailored to customer specifications.
• Process Improvement: Develop and refine manufacturing processes, focusing on cost reduction and process enhancement by designing and modifying equipment for fabrication, assembly, and installation.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure system and product quality through meticulous testing methods.
• Data Analysis: Prepare comprehensive product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Customer Support: Provide detailed engineering information by responding to questions and requests.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain product and company reputation by adhering to government regulations.
• Database Management: Maintain system and product databases through programming and data entry.

What Were Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience: Heavy equipment engineering experience is a plus; open to new graduates and those with up to 5+ years of experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced computer skills, proficiency in Excel, and design software systems.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities for effective interaction with all internal and external contacts.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and technical skills to understand business practices and recommend appropriate automation opportunities.
• Cost Accounting: Functional understanding of cost accounting principles.
• Innovation: Must be an innovator who embraces lean enterprise principles and practices.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and processes.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to not only identify problems but also take proactive steps toward solving them.
