What You Will Do:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our design and manufacturing process, turning conceptual models into reality. Your role will encompass:
- Innovative Design: Utilize advanced CAD software (OnShape, Solidworks, etc.) to create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, assembly designs, and part specifications.
- Precision & Compliance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, translating engineering sketches into highly accurate and functional product drawings.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and document existing manufacturing workflows, identifying opportunities for enhancements that boost productivity, quality, and safety.
- New Product Development: Design and implement scalable, sustainable manufacturing processes for new products, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to production.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply lean methodologies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and elevate efficiency across all production stages.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams in manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and other areas to ensure cohesive product development and implementation.
- Leadership & Training: Lead training sessions to promote continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
What Were Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and engineering, particularly in developing and documenting new products. Prior experience with heavy-duty industrial products is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in lean manufacturing tools, CAD software, and ERP systems (experience with Syteline is a plus).
- Innovative Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
