Job Purpose:

Oversee and manage all aspects of the financial operations within a corporate setting. This includes ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, strategic financial planning, risk management, and efficient use of financial resources. They provide insights to senior management, lead financial teams, and play a key role in driving corporate financial performance and sustainability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • lead the offshore entities incorporation, management, and substance requirements.
  • Ensure the organization meets the necessary tax, permit and licensing requirements.
  • Prepare and oversee all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures.
  • Act as a liaise between the offshore entities and the OPCOs.
  • Provide external auditors with the necessary documentation and support.
  • Lead the tax preparation process and liaise with external tax accountants for tax filing.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law, finance, and tax regulations.
  • Manage existing and future financial, tax, and legal consultants and coordinate their communication with internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting role.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
