Legal Manager

Company Overview

They are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to drive strategic legal initiatives and support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations with partners, customers, and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Identify legal risks and potential vulnerabilities across the organization and devise strategies for mitigation.
• Guide the organizations risk management efforts, including managing insurance coverage, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure alignment with Group policies and maintain open communication with Group Legal, obtaining approvals as necessary.
• Manage complex legal projects independently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address the legal implications of business decisions and initiatives.
• Promote a culture of legal compliance and ethics across the organization.
• Oversee and coordinate the legal department.
• Implement Group Legal Compliance policies and provide support to other departments in their implementation.

Requirements

• Location: Brasov
• Working Style: Hybrid
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, with a strong background in international contract arrangements
• Qualifications: Law degree or legal education preferred; extensive experience as a commercial contracts manager in a corporate setting
• Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide practical solutions for complex legal issues
  • Proven experience negotiating international commercial contracts
  • Strong confidentiality practices and ability to maintain sensitive information
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Strong business acumen, ethical integrity, and team collaboration skills
