SQL Developer (Data Mart & AWS) - German speaker

Location: Romania (remote)

About the company

The company is a German-based IT consultancy with technology hubs throughout Europe, including Romania. The end client operates in the banking sector.

Responsibilities:

• Development work on the Data Mart application system xDM.
• Development based on MS SQL Server 2019: coding in T-SQL, maintenance of metadata for automated code generation, implementation of tabular models, occasional support in Power BI.
• Collaboration within a large team (approx. 20 people) consisting of business users, IT development, project management, development coordinators, and solution designers.

Required Skills:

• Microsoft SQL Server
• Transact-SQL
• Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services
• Relational and dimensional data modeling
• IDE tool suite (BitBucket, Jira, Confluence)
• Experience working in medium to large teams
• German language proficiency at B2 level or higher

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Power BI
• Experience in highly regulated industries: banking, insurance, pharmaceutical industry (medical devices)
