Role Overview
As a Project Manager Lead, you will be responsible for evolving our project management framework to the next phase of maturity. You will manage, mentor, and support a team of project managers, ensuring their professional growth and maximizing their performance. Additionally, you will act as the first escalation point for project-related challenges and work closely with stakeholders to drive the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- People Management: Own the growth and performance of the project management team by acting as a coach, mentor, and leader.
- Project Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive view of all projects and serve as the first escalation layer.
- Leadership: Guide the team and organization in evolving project management processes to align with company objectives.
- Strategic Collaboration: Gain an in-depth understanding of company products and delivery models to enhance project execution.
Requirements
- Experience: 5-7 years in project management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and mentoring project managers.
- Project Management Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and other project methodologies.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to anticipate risks and propose effective solutions.
- Communication & Negotiation: Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Multi-Project Handling: Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing effectively.
- Agile Knowledge: Familiarity with agile tools, methodologies, and best practices.
