Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Bucharest (Hybrid 2 days/week in the office)

About the Role
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our clients innovative team. In this role, you will design and implement advanced machine learning models, analyze complex datasets, and provide actionable insights to drive impactful decisions. You will play a key role in digital transformation projects across diverse industries, including automotive and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop machine learning models using Python (mandatory) and Dataiku (nice to have) to solve complex business challenges.
  • Clean, prepare, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data quality and readiness.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and create proof-of-concepts (PoCs), transforming them into scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide actionable recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with machine learning tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook) and data science platforms like Dataiku.
  • Knowledge of GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and parameter tuning.
  • Strong data visualization skills using tools like Plotly or Matplotlib.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills to effectively present insights to stakeholders.
  • Nice to have: Power Apps / Power Automate knowledge;
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
