Our client, a major player in the Romanian packaging market, is expanding their regional sales team and is looking for an ambitious and strategic  Business Development Manager for business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop the business with current customers
  • Prospect and open doors
  • Pave the way for our expert team to deliver a high-quality pitch and secure  involvement in all projects.
  • Build relationship with all decision makers and secure project wins.
  • Support local supply-chain set-up to secure revenue and profitability
  • Direct responsibility for certain key accounts
  • Cooperate closely with all gobal, regional segment & all Department / locations 
  • Responsible for sales controlling and reporting (local-regional-global)
  • Participate in sales-related (internal and external) meetings, workshops, trade fairs, etc.
  • Adhering to our core values & ways of working

Ideal profile:

  • Bachelors degree (Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Masters or other advanced degree is a plus,
  • 5+ years experience in a B2B environment in Romanian Market (Account Management / Project Management or similar)
  • Sales experience (hunting) new business development & customer acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to sell solutions,
  • Experience working in the Industrial Packaging industry or supply Chain / Logistics segment considered an asset
  • Business fluent in English
