Mechanical Process Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Engineer in the automotive domain, with experience in production and involvement in all types of processes. The ideal candidate should have a technical background and actively contribute to the improvement and optimization of production processes. 

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing components while adhering to performance and safety standards
• Optimizing production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Providing technical support to production teams in solving technical issues
• Offering technical consultancy to clients and internal departments for process and product improvement
• 80% of the time you will be present in the plant ensuring the production phases are going well
• Optimization of the process flow and reducing errors or time gaps. 

Requirements:

• Education: Mechanical Engineer/Technologist or similar field
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the mechanical field, focusing on the use and maintenance of industrial equipment
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Technical drawing interpretation
  • Knowledge in automation, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in SAP (considered an advantage)
  • English language intermediate level

Technical Skills:

• Previous experience of at least one year in the mechanical field, especially with industrial machinery and equipment, with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge for designing and maintaining production equipment
• Ability to work with automated systems and controls to optimize production processes
• Analytical skills for identifying and solving technical problems

• Team spirit and ability to work in a team
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in the industry
• Precision and attention to detail to ensure product and process quality
