Freelance SAP Fiori Consultant Manufacturing Client (East Flanders-Belgium)

For a leading manufacturing client based in East Flanders, we are seeking an experienced Freelance SAP Fiori Consultant to support long-term digital transformation initiatives. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on impactful SAP UX projects across multiple business units.

Role Summary:

As an SAP Fiori Consultant, you will enhance user experience by designing, developing, and deploying SAP Fiori applications. Your primary focus will be on creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces aligned with business processes to drive operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize SAP Fiori applications in line with business requirements.

  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to map process flows into modern Fiori apps.

  • Integrate Fiori applications with backend SAP systems (SAP ECC/S/4HANA).

  • Ensure adherence to Fiori/UI5 development best practices, including performance and responsiveness.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing Fiori applications.

  • Coordinate with SAP Basis and Security teams for system access and performance.

  • Deliver technical documentation and training to users and internal teams.

  • Stay updated with SAP UX trends and recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on SAP Fiori/UI5 development experience.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP backend integration using OData services.

  • Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.

  • Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors (highly desirable).

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: 12 months (possible extension)

  • Location: East Flanders (Hybrid)

  • Language: English required; Dutch is a strong advantage
