About the job Electronics Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our client's team and play a key role in the design and development of innovative electronic solutions.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Electronics or a related field.
Experience:
8+ years in electronic circuit design, particularly in power electronics.
Hands-on experience with power conversion systems, including topologies, dynamic behavior, ripple, and thermal constraints.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in hardware tools and equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power meters, etc.).
Expertise in Altium for PCB design and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of testing procedures and industry standards.
Competencies:
Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently, under pressure, and adapt to changes.
Excellent organizational skills.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English (C1 or higher).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform calculations and simulations to validate design concepts, including system, electronics, thermal, electromagnetic, and EMI analysis.
- Conduct tests to integrate new technologies into designs effectively.
- Design and develop products ready for manufacturing, including: Schematic design and PCB layout; Cost-effective component selection for BOM creation; Component design (e.g., high-frequency transformers, coils).
- Create detailed design documentation and specifications.
- Oversee and review mechanical design activities.
- Verify environmental, reliability, and safety qualifications for designs.
- Analyze manufacturing errors during the design phases and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Support various departments (e.g., Purchasing for component obsolescence, Sales for initial design requests and prototypes).
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into designs.
- Participate in design reviews, offering constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and support test plans and specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.
