About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building robust data processing solutions, optimizing pipelines, and ensuring data quality for large-scale platforms. You'll work closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions that support decision-making and regulatory reporting in the financial domain.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Databricks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture and processing workflows.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, preferably in Azure DevOps.

Ensure the integrity, quality, and performance of data through monitoring and validation tools.

Support cloud-based data solutions, primarily using Microsoft Azure.

Work with SQL for data transformation, cleansing, and querying tasks.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills:

Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and analytics.

Hands-on experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing.

Familiarity with CI/CD practices, ideally using Azure DevOps.

Solid experience with Git for version control.

Experience in cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.

Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of .NET (C#).

Experience with Azure Data Lake and other Azure data services.

Familiarity with Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.

Understanding of monitoring and alerting tools.

Experience using Terraform or similar tools for infrastructure as code.

Domain knowledge in financial services or regulatory reporting is a plus.
