Business Analyst (PowerBI), Spain

To further strengthen our client's team we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst, who focuses on gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements, ensuring they are properly understood by the business stakeholders and the technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to quickly understand business process, context and key stakeholders;
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders;
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities in business processes;
• Develop data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategy;
• Create clear documentation, including business cases, process flows, and user stories;
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to align teams on project goals and priorities;
• Align client and team members around the project's direction;​
• Creativity to develop new directions;
• Define success criteria;
• Work with the Functional Analyst to ensure feasibility;
• Work with the Journey Designer to propose the best solution for the problem at hand;
• Ensure data compliance and governance alignment with business needs;
• Monitor project outcomes and recommend improvements for continuous growth.

Qualifications:

• You have worked in consulting before and therefore thoroughly understand what it means to be a consultant. Previous experience in a BIG4 company is a significant advantage.
• You have hands-on experience (we do not need strategy or "manager" capability)
• You manage to see, investigate, evaluate & implement the need for transformation with (potential) clients.
• You understand what data driven transformations are (use data as an accelerator to create business growth, efficiency improvements, better customer experience / growth)
• You work hard to understand the details of your clients context. You can easily shift between a high-level helicopter view and a deep-dive into specific topics.
• Strong technical background, with the ability to understand complex IT solutions and convey their value to clients. Experience with CEM or Data-related technologies such as Salesforce, Dataiku, Snowflake, PowerBI, Collibra etc. are a plus.
• Proven experience in analysing current business processes (as-is state) and proposing improvements (to-be state). You can identify pain points, bottlenecks or inefficiencies in workflows.
• You use diagrams and models (flowcharts, use case diagrams, process flows) to visualize processes and are skilled in defining user stories to achieve 'To be' situation.
• You have a strong focus on built-in quality and validate that all quality gateways are met before and after release of new functionality.
• Optional: You understand lean thinking.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to excellence and achieving results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• You speak/write perfect English and are proficient in Dutch and/or French.
