Senior Linux System Administrator/DevOps Sibiu (Hybrid)

Our client, a leading global telecommunications company, is looking for an experienced Senior Linux System Administrator/DevOps to join their team in Sibiu. If you have a strong background in Linux infrastructure, automation, and networking, this is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, high-availability systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain a global network of 70+ Linux servers running multiple production services
• Perform security and software upgrades to ensure system stability
• Manage load balancing and failover systems for high availability
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance
• Design and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed systems
• Implement automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and continuous integration
• Support continuous delivery and zero-downtime deployments
• Develop solutions for backup, disaster recovery, and security monitoring

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration and automation
• Proficiency with command-line tools and shell scripting
• Experience with Ansible, Elasticsearch, Consul, and MySQL replication
• Strong knowledge of virtualization (KVM, Xen, VMware, Docker)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby)
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL)
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols
