The Content Lead is a strategic leadership role at the heart of transformation toward a high-performing, AI-augmented content operation. This role is responsible for leading the content team into a future state defined by speed, scale, and quality achieved through the integration of automation, clear processes, and data-informed decision-making.
Aligned with the mission to become the most player-centric casino affiliate, the Content Lead oversees content strategy, team performance, and output quality across all platforms. This role drives operational excellence and future-proofs content production by spearheading the implementation of advanced tooling, intelligent workflows, and continuous optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business and SEO goals.
- Manage the evolution of the content team into a streamlined, automated production unit powered by AI tools and performance data.
- Oversee the planning, creation, and publishing of high-volume, high-impact content across all company websites.
- Build and maintain scalable systems for content operations, integrating clear processes, automation, and QA standards.
- Manage and develop a team of Content Strategy Managers and Writers, fostering a results-oriented and collaborative culture.
- Establish clear performance metrics for the team; track and optimize productivity, quality, and impact.
- Partner closely with SEO to ensure every piece of content is optimized for visibility, discoverability, and player value.
- Implement and continuously refine a robust content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and alignment across functions.
- Drive innovation in content formats, channels, and workflows, experimenting with AI-generated assets and new engagement methods.
- Monitor content performance through data dashboards and reporting tools; present insights and strategy adjustments to leadership.
- Collaborate with Tech, Design, Product, Social Media, and Acquisition teams to align content with business campaigns and user journeys.
- Keep a watch over department costs and propose optimisation solutions on a regular basis
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in content leadership or digital publishing roles, ideally in affiliate marketing or performance-driven sectors.
- Proven ability to scale content operations through automation and structured workflows.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, keyword strategy, and content optimization techniques.
- Experience with AI content tools, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and performance analytics platforms.
- Skilled in developing editorial standards, QA processes, and content governance models.
- Exceptional project management skills and ability to lead teams toward high output and high quality.
