About the Role
TFS Energy Derivatives, a leading player in the Asian Oil & Energy Markets, boasts an impressive 20-year plus track record of delivering exceptional service to customers around the region. As we continue to expand our presence, we're seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Trainee/Junior Oil Broker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor financial markets and stay abreast of market developments to provide informed support to clients.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of traded products, including new offerings and procedural updates.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through regular communication, understanding their business objectives, and delivering tailored broking services.
- Cultivate and expand existing client relationships while identifying opportunities to establish new partnerships.
- Analyse market trends, data, and statistics to identify business opportunities aligned with client needs.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of pricing spreads.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date trade records.
- Provide support for day-to-day tasks, including ad hoc reporting, research, and client communications, as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or a related field
- 1 year of related working experience preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse groups and personalities
- Highly energetic and motivated
Salary range: SGD$5,000 to SGD$7,000 per month depending on experience
Note: Successful candidates will be required to pass the RES 2A Examination and CM-SIP (Capital Markets Specified Investment Products) Examination (unless exempted)
