About the Role
We are seeking a driven, analytical Product Manager / Product Owner (B2B SaaS) to join our core product team and help evolve our end-to-end enterprise platform. Working closely with senior Product Managers, fellow Product Owners, UX/UI designers and engineering teams, you will translate product direction and high-level requirements into detailed functional designs and development-ready specifications.
You will contribute across our ecosystem of solutions spanning Supplier Management, Supplier Compliance, PLM, Costing, Product Compliance, Order Management, Shipment ASNs, Quality Inspection and Traceability. This is a hands-on product role requiring strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex multi-enterprise processes into intuitive, scalable software solutions.
You will also help shape practical AI-driven features and automated workflows that improve decision-making, identify supply chain risks and simplify work for brands, vendors and factories.
Responsibilities:
- Product Direction to Functional Design: Collaborate with senior Product Managers to translate product strategy, roadmap priorities and high-level concepts into detailed solution designs and actionable requirements; constructively challenge assumptions and recommend improvements.
- Solution Design & Workflow Modeling: Define end-to-end user journeys, screen behaviors, business processes, data requirements, validation rules, exceptions and dependencies, working closely with UX/UI designers to create coherent experiences across the platform.
- Functional Specifications & Backlog: Produce clear functional specifications, Jira epics and user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting documentation; refine and clarify backlog items so engineering teams can implement them effectively.
- Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner with Engineering, UX/UI and QA throughout development to explain requirements, resolve functional questions, assess trade-offs and maintain consistency with the intended solution and broader product architecture.
- Functional Validation & Quality: Review delivered functionality against intended workflows and acceptance criteria; support QA and user acceptance testing, identify gaps and edge cases, and help resolve issues before release.
- Collaborative Discovery: Work with senior Product Managers, enterprise clients and internal stakeholders to understand operational pain points, validate proposed solutions and incorporate practical feedback.
- AI & Intelligent Workflows: Collaborate with product and technical teams to incorporate AI-driven insights, recommendations and automation into useful enterprise workflows, defining understandable behavior and functional requirements.
- Compliance & Enterprise Context: Research and translate relevant sourcing, trade, quality and regulatory requirements into product rules and workflows, with support from domain experts where needed.
- Iterative Improvement: Contribute to backlog refinement and scope decisions with senior Product Managers and engineering leads and use customer feedback and observed product behavior to propose improvements.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis or Functional Consulting within B2B SaaS or enterprise software, with demonstrable involvement in detailed feature design and agile delivery.
- Domain Understanding: Familiarity with at least one of retail sourcing, supplier management, manufacturing operations, PLM, compliance, order execution or quality management; ability to learn adjacent domains quickly.
- Functional Design & Analysis: Strong ability to decompose complex workflows, identify business rules, exceptions and data dependencies, and produce clear specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Tools & Delivery: Practical experience working with Jira or comparable agile backlog tools and collaborating day to day with software engineering, UX/UI and QA teams.
- Technical Acumen: Comfort discussing enterprise data models, APIs, integrations and technical constraints with engineers; no hands-on coding requirement.
- Problem-Solving & Systems Thinking: Ability to simplify legacy or spreadsheet-heavy processes into intuitive, consistent and scalable solutions while considering wider platform impact.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, good judgement, attention to detail and confidence working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- AI & Innovation: Interest in practical AI-enabled features and intelligent workflow automation; prior hands-on experience is an advantage, not a prerequisite.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
