We are seeking a Travel Operations Manager (Onsite) for a full time and direct hire role for one of our amazing partners in the travel & tour industry. This role is in-person and located in Redondo Beach, California.


You will support the day-to-day execution of the company's tour portfolio. You will ensure smooth operations and a high-quality guest experience across all departures. This role is highly operational and detail oriented where you will do coordination across vendors, internal teams, and Tour Directors. You will manage vendor inventory, vendor communication, and on-tour support, which includes real-time problem solving. You will ensure consistency, efficiency, and executional excellence across all tours.


Responsibilities:

  • You will do product operations to support the execution of guided tours across the U.S., Canada, and international programs. That includes coordinating day-to-day logistics to ensure seamless tour delivery and guest satisfaction and partnering closely with Product Managers and the product team.
  • Manage product inventory including booking, confirming, monitoring, and canceling vendor space. You will communicate directly with vendors like hotels and motorcoach operators and ensure the timely release of unused space in accordance with contracts.
  • Support the Tour Directors by communicating regularly regarding tour details, questions, and on-tour needs. You will prepare and distribute their itineraries and technicals with tour and flight details and follow up post-tour on options, expenses, and reporting.
  • Be there to support guests while on tours & to make sure they have a great guest experience to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience across all departures. You will assist them with any situations requiring early departures or medical issues.
  • You will collaborate and work closely with sales, air, and operations teams to support tour execution and maintain clear communication across departments to resolve issues efficiently.


Requirements:

  • Must have strong knowledge of guided travel and tour products.
  • Experience in travel, tour operations, or a related field is a strong preference.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a high attention to detail, an ability to manage multiple priorities and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong computer skills with excel and operational systems is preferred.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
