About the job Director of Client Services (Remote)
We are seeking a Director of Client Services. This is a remote, full-time and direct hire role for one of our amazing partners in the banking industry. They work with financial institutions to provide bottom-line benefits for strengthening account holder relationships and providing new income streams. They transform the way customers view their banking relationship by delivering data-driven retail checking and small business strategies, direct response insurance programs, and identity protection services.
You will be responsible for managing existing relationships with their mid-level to top revenue clients in both the bank and credit union industries. You will provide a high level of service and support to existing clients post-launch while also managing client retention and the contract renewal process for specific clients. You will visit assigned clients to build multi-level relationships, share best practices for success, and ensure your product is achieving both client and company goals. Your interaction with clients may be independent or in conjunction with a sales rep assigned to a specific client. You will share the company's new benefits and products with the goals of upgrading products and generating new revenue opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a roadmap with clients to maximize their results
- Understanding and tracking of key account success metrics
- Identify growth opportunities within your client base and partner with the new sales team, as appropriate, to secure new revenue
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships that lead to referenceable accounts.
- Keep Salesforce accounts, contacts, and opportunities updated
- Proactive in person outreach to assigned clients utilizing client review presentation templates
- Track current contract renewal timelines and secure new long term contract renewals
- Gain thorough understanding of company's Best Practices for achieving product success.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of all company enhancements and strategies as well as speak to competitor differences
- Deliver analytics to support client goals and new opportunities
- Strong understanding of all marketing tools and campaigns available and working with clients to develop a custom promotional calendar
REQUIREMENTS
- 5-10 years of client service or account management experience working in the field with key clients
- Banking or credit union experience is a huge plus
- Experience calling on C-Suite executives with the ability to gain trust, build relationships and deliver on your commitments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
- Willingness to travel weekly to make in-person client visits and to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Proven time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong client service and sales mentality
- Bachelor level college degree
