About the job Events Manager (Hybrid Onsite)
We are seeking an Events Manager (Hybrid onsite) for a full time and direct hire role for one of our amazing partners near Fort Lauderdale, FL.
This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic coordination and direct involvement in event setup, on-site execution, post-event follow-up, and process-building. You will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the company's events portfolio. This includes a major event they host, industry trade shows, partner events, roadshows, and more. You will be focused on event execution, logistics, vendor and partner coordination, internal alignment, on-site readiness, event promotion coordination, budget tracking, and post-event reporting. This takes someone who is proactive and detail-oriented to manage multiple events at once. You will create structure in a fast-paced environment, and ensure every event is executed with professionalism, accuracy, and strong brand consistency. You will also support event budget management and performance tracking. This includes expenses, revenue, attendee growth, lead generation, pipeline influence, ROI, and other key event KPIs. You will work closely with internal marketing team members to ensure events are promoted effectively across email, social media, website updates, paid media, landing pages, the events webpage/calendar, and other promotional channels. You will occasionally support simple campaign execution, but the primary role is to provide accurate event information, brief team members, coordinate timelines, review final outputs, and ensure all event-related materials and digital touchpoints are accurate and aligned with event goals. You must be comfortable working in a growing organization where processes are evolving and where events often require quick decision-making, proactive follow-up, and progress with incomplete information.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all events end-to-end, including logistics, timelines, vendors, and on-site delivery
- Own the company's flagship event, including registration, sponsors/exhibitors, pricing strategy, and attendee experience
- Coordinate trade shows and partner events, managing booths, materials, travel, and lead capture
- Plan and execute multi-city roadshows aligned to key business verticals such as public safety, agriculture, and facilities management.
- Partner with marketing to support event promotion across email, social, paid media, and web
- Ensure accurate event information across websites, apps, and promotional materials
- Track budgets, expenses, revenue, and event performance (leads, pipeline, ROI)
- Build and improve scalable processes, documentation, and event operations
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams, vendors, and partners
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in event management, trade shows, or event marketing (B2B preferred)
- Proven ability to manage events from planning through execution and post-event reporting
- Strong skills in logistics, vendor coordination, and project management
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and external partners
- Willingness to travel (~20%+)
- Comfortable working in a growing organization where processes are evolving and where the role requires both execution and process-building.
- Able to work independently and follow up proactively.
- Experience working with sales teams, technical teams, vendors, partners, and event organizers is a plus.
- Experience with event budgeting, sponsor/exhibitor coordination, ticketing strategy, event revenue tracking, and post-event ROI reporting is a plus.
- Knowledge of website updates, email marketing, CRM systems, HubSpot, WordPress, paid media, analytics, or event apps is a plus.
- Experience in technology, aviation, drones, robotics, public safety, agriculture, or related industries is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
