Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Manager with a strong background in perioperative nursing to lead our Operating Room (OR) team. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic surgical environment. As the RN Manager of the Operating Room, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring compliance with established standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Provide strong leadership to the OR nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including performance evaluations, training, and professional development.
- Operational Oversight:
- Coordinate and manage daily operations of the Operating Room, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, staff, and equipment.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Quality and Patient Safety:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in perioperative nursing.
- Promote a culture of safety, actively participating in the identification and resolution of safety concerns.
- Budget Management:
- Collaborate with the administrative team to develop and manage the OR budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
- Staff Development:
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the OR nursing team.
- Facilitate ongoing education and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the OR staff.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between the OR, other departments, and hospital administration to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to enhance coordination of patient care and address operational issues.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's or Master's Preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of perioperative nursing experience, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- CNOR certification is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in perioperative nursing.
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse team in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
