Job Overview:

Our client is currently seeking a full-time Sprinkler & Alarm Service Technician to join their team in Fort Myers, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fire protection industry and possess a strong understanding of sprinkler and alarm systems. This position will involve both installation and service work, so the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems and alarm systems in commercial and residential properties

- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with sprinkler and alarm systems

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on existing systems

- Keep accurate records of work performed and any changes made to systems

- Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service

- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the fire protection or security industry

- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards

- Strong understanding of sprinkler and alarm systems

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
