Shift Hours: Nights - 11p-7a Monday through Friday (weekends w/rotation/on-call).
TPRG is in need of a Nurse Manager of the NICU for a client in the Houston Texas area.
Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Nurse Manager Neonatal ICU NICU for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. - You will assist the Director with all department activities to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of the facility.
- You will assist in coordinating the departments participation in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.
- You will ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluates the effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
- You will provide clinical support to the nursing staff.?
- You will be responsible assisting, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients in the Women's Services Units.
What qualifications you will need:
- 2+ years of Recent (Within the last year) Acute Care NICU Leadership (Manager or Charge Nurse) experience required.
- BSN required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required
