TPRG is currently looking for an Audiovisual Specialist. We are interested in finding the right, long-term team member who is self-directed, organized, goal-oriented, and knows how to lead the conversation and build relationships.
What Will You Be Doing?
This position has the overall responsibility of generating sales for the Audiovisual team by identifying and developing prospective clients and maintaining effective relationships with existing clients. This position is responsible for maintaining an overall flow of sales consistent with assigned objectives. Additionally, this role calls for technical aptitude to allow impactful conversations with clients and enable greater collaboration among internal teams.
Some of the primary job duties of this position include:
Identify sales prospects, validate, and convert opportunities, provide accurate forecasts, and activity reports to management.
Provide pre-sales support by answering technical inquiries and participating in sales meetings.
Explain technical concepts and systems in language appropriate for a range of audiences including facilities, IT, and the C-suite.
Translate client expectations and requirements to basic system design concepts, to enable a more efficient collaboration with system design engineering while also being able to more accurately set client expectations of system functionality and the end-user experience.
Analyze cross-selling and up-selling opportunities ensuring that all company products and services have been thoroughly presented and the sales cycle successfully executed.
Exhibit a consultative sales approach to establish a complete understanding of a clients workplace technology needs.
Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable.
Prepare contracts and pricing strategies for targets accounts and submit all required documentation.
Work with project management, systems design engineering, and the field team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
Responsible for developing and executing sales plans to expand existing client base and generate new business.
Attend and participate in weekly office sales meetings.
Establish professional relationships with manufacturer sales and sales engineering personnel.
Actively use internal databases to complete client contact information, provide detailed notes, and track pending activities.
Represent company at technological briefings and trade shows as assigned.
Participate in training and professional development activities as prescribed by management.
Do You Have The Experience, Knowledge and Skills Were Looking For?
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
A four-year degree is preferred.
At least 3-5 years experience of direct selling audiovisual solutions, technical systems, or SaaS.
At least 2 years experience in a systems design, engineering, or an advanced technical role.
