Painting Engineer

Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a Painting Engineer to join our Manufacturing Division based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines.

The Painting Engineer is a member of the Painting & Resin Engineering Section that provides engineering support to achieve Non-defect Quality condition on company production processes and maintenance operations, setting Process & Equipment Standard Operating Procedures including implementing Policies.

In this role, you are expected to proactively research and monitor the production machine and equipment to ensure its safety, efficiency, and productivity.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Setting process and equipment standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Review and propose process and equipment efficiency improvement.
• Attain production operation key performance index, includes ensuring smooth operation flow and no equipment breakdown.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably with knowledge in Manufacturing Process set-up & basic operation.
• You are capable of clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
• You are proactive; taking prompt action to accomplish objectives and taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required.
• You can initiate action that tries to achieve a recognized benefit or advantage when potential negative consequences are understood.
• You are an actively participating member of a team, moving the team toward the completion of goals.

Skills required:

• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Preferably with knowledge in AutoCAD and PLC software
• Preferably with equipment maintenance & trouble shooting exposure
• Has knowledge in technical analysis and able to understand technical drawings
• Has project management skills
• Has excellent communication and coordination skills
• Must be willing to work in Sta. Rosa, Laguna
