Junior Application Support Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Application Support Engineer in Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation. 

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise applications used across the organization. You will serve as the secondary point of contact for end-users experiencing issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement of application. performance.

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. You resolve system-related incidents within the timelines defined by Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
2. You fulfill system-related service requests and respond to inquiries quickly and efficiently, always keeping SLA expectations in mind.
3. You investigate recurring issues, implement countermeasures or Kaizen solutions, and help reduce long-term disruptions.
4. You respond to user support requests by providing solutions, tracking your actions, and keeping relevant parties informed every step of the way.
5. You work closely with TMP stakeholders and external affiliates, ensuring application support aligns with operational needs.
6. You carry out regular application maintenance tasks, document your work clearly, and follow established procedures to resolve issues.
7. You support and manage small to medium-sized system development projects, contributing to both planning and execution.
8. You coordinate with vendor developers, helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues or deploy new enhancements.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Applications, and Computer Engineering.
• You are comfortable working with both technical teams and non-technical users.

• You are proactive; taking prompt action to accomplish objectives and taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required.
• You effectively manage your time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
• You are capable of monitoring the results of delegations, assignments or projects, considering the skills, knowledge and experience of the assigned individual and the characteristics of the assignment or project.
• You must be willing to work onsite in Sta. Rosa Laguna, Mondays to Fridays.

Technical Skills

• Programming and software development experience with the Microsoft Development Platform (C#, .NET, MS-SQL) - basic
  Web Development in ASP.NET MVC and related client technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Systems analysis and design.
• Software Development Lifecycle (Waterfall / Agile) and Project Management
• Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing skill (unit testing)
• Technical documentation
