Automotive Engineer - Diagnostician

Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for an Automotive Engineer and/or an Automotive Diagnostician to be a Repair Support Professional joining our Technical Service Department. The position is for deployment to Cagayan de Oro City, but will undergo training in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

TheRepair Support Professional is a member of the Repair Support Team that is responsible for managing and facilitating technical assistance for hard-to-diagnose cases among Mindanao dealers; and collaborating with Toyota internal affiliates and regional affiliates to handle customer concerns and marketing events related to repair support activities.

In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in Automotive Repair and Diagnosis, and Technical Report Writing and Presentation.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Provide Repair Support assistance to Mindanao dealers for vehicle hard to diagnose cases either remote assistance or go & see activity.
• Create Technical Report for the assisted cases and Field Evaluation Report for safety related cases.
• Facilitate Serviceability Kaizen Request to Regional Affiliates as part of market concern improvement.
• Provide daily monitoring update for handled repair support cases; observed KPI's for both response and closure.
• Conduct and/or develop kaizen activities related to repair support operation to dealers.

Our perfect match:

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Automotive Engineering.
• Graduate of BSIT Automotive Technology, or Automotive Servicing must have NC IV.
• Knowledge in Automotive Repair and Diagnosis.
• Technical Report Writing/Presentation.
• Excellent data analysis.
  
• Knowledge in vehicle repair and diagnosis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• With background or knowledgeable in the Automotive Industry
• Highly proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, MS365, etc.)
• Knowledge in Power BI application is an advantage
• Knowledge in SAP application is an advantage
• Open to travelling for business within Mindanao region.
• Willing to be assigned or relocated to Cagayan de Oro City.
