Position: Junior Banking/Payments Officer

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Remuneration: base salary + commissions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily payment operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers
  • Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and promptly
  • Monitor and address any payment-related issues with clients or partners
  • Perform reconciliations for banking and payment transactions
  • Maintain accurate records of banking activities, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Contribute to the identification and onboarding of new payment solutions to support company operations
  • Ensure payment processes comply with local and international regulatory requirements
  • Assist in implementing anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud prevention measures
  • Provide support to the finance team with payment-related inquiries
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and analyses pertaining to payment operations
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date accounting entries for payment transactions
  • Address client inquiries related to payments and resolve any issues or concerns
  • Collaborate with customer service and other departments to efficiently resolve payment queries

          REQUIREMENTS:

          • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
          • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
          • Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking, Forex, casino, or PSP (Payment Service Provider) industries
          • Prior experience in payment processing and banking operations is highly preferred
          • Proven track record in onboarding and integrating new payment solutions
          • In-depth knowledge of payment systems and financial operations.
          • Familiarity with anti-money laundering (AML) practices and regulatory compliance
          • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and financial software
          • Ability to assess payment data and identify inconsistencies.
          • Ensures accuracy in transaction processing and record-keeping
          • Team-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
