Head of Finance

Position: Head of Finance

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Work model: on-site

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: base salary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the CFO and departments to create and present the companys annual budget
• Monitor budget performance, recommending cost-saving measures and implementing improvements
• Provide financial insights and alternatives to enhance performance
• Manage capital requests, budgeting processes, and financial reporting
• Prepare detailed reports on financial status, risks, and forecasts
• Assist in developing financial and tax strategies with the CFO
• Deliver key financial figures to executive management and CFO on a regular basis
• Conduct business studies and develop forecast models based on past, present, and future performance
• Oversee cash management and funding for operations and projects
• Conduct financial assessments of counterparties and banks
• Review incentive calculations and monitor KPIs for revenue-generating functions
• Evaluate profitability of products and services, collaborating with departments to address gaps
• Review statutory financial statements and maintain banking relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. CFA certification will be considered as an advantage
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• Previous experience in finance, ideally within financial intermediary firms
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel
• Experience with financial modeling and data analysis
• Excellent command of financial planning, reporting, and tax strategy development
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Leadership and team management experience
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• High proficiency in financial data analysis and the ability to spot patterns
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to senior management
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level management.
