DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and implement lighting plans for a 24/7 live studio, ensuring high-quality and consistent lighting across all operations
• Operate, monitor, and maintain studio lighting equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues to ensure smooth performance
• Provide regular updates to the on-site manager about daily operations and equipment status. Ensure alignment with departmental goals by reporting to the director in Bucharest
• Lead and mentor junior lighting technicians, offering guidance and training to maintain operational efficiency in the studio environment
• Ensure all lighting setups meet safety regulations and industry standards. Coordinate with other departments to seamlessly integrate lighting with audio, video, and other technical elements
• Maintain detailed records of lighting setups, equipment inventory, and maintenance schedules. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in live studio lighting.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven background as a Lighting Technician with expertise in live studio operations and continuous broadcasting environments
• Deep knowledge of studio lighting equipment and control systems
• Ability to interpret light plots and strong understanding of safety regulations in live studio settings
• Strong ability to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both on-site teams and the director in Bucharest
• Strong attention to detail and flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional nights and weekends
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with lighting software tailored for live studio environments will be considered as an advantage
• Technical certifications in lighting design, electrical engineering, or a related field will be considered as an advantage.
