Senior Accountant (Costing)

Responsibilities: 

• Develop cost standards for material, labor & overhead, establish labor & overhead rates and assisting with plant BOMs & routings for setting product costing and product pricing of manufactured goods by adopting activity-based costing and standard costing
• Perform regular analysis on product cost, variances, labor & productivity efficiencies, inventory & COGS with recommendations highlighting improvement opportunities and/or risks
• Conduct regular performance measurement by establishing key performance indicators, metrics and benchmarks to identify areas of improvement and monitor and evaluate performance improvement initiatives of each business function 
• Assist business line managers to develop plans to drive and foster the continuous improvement practice/behavior
• Assist in management and documentation of business process re-engineering projects among operational teams to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to cope with business requirements
• Assist to conduct planned & ad-hoc internal control assessment of key financial processes and prepare and present comprehensive reports on internal control findings and areas for improvement 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline, favorably pursuing CPA or CMA
• 5+ years experience of cost accounting experience and performance measurement in SAP System manufacturing environment, proven experience with product costing and product pricing, variance analysis and financial modeling a huge plus
• Accounting qualification such as ACCA and HKICPA would be ideal
• Prior manufacturing costing experiences would be a great advantage
• Advanced Excel, ETL, data warehouse and business intelligence skills to gather, analyze, summarize and interpret data
• Prior experience in business process analysis and process improvement adopting MS Power Platform and RPA knowledge
• Self-starting and goal-oriented personality with strong ability of problem-solving, attention to detail and time management to effectively multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with strong data analytic aptitude for analyzing trends
