About the job Solution Manager (RFID & IoT Focus)
Job Descriptions:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Solution Manager to lead and manage projects with a focus on RFID, IoT, NFC, and Smart Card technologies. You will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-sales to implementation, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Support: Partner with the sales team during the tender bidding process, providing pre-sales technical support including the development of proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate and liaise with clients and internal/external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, functional specifications, UAT plans, operational workflows, user manuals, and cost breakdowns.
- Client Interaction: Attend client and sales meetings to deliver tailored technical and operational solutions that align with customer requirements.
- Technical Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for technical project-related queries between clients and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in product, project management and pre-sales, preferably in the IT sector.
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with RFID, IoT, NFC, and card-related technologies. Additionally, expertise in radio measuring techniques is required.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices to ensure the security of IoT and RFID systems.
- Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Vision technology and experience in providing hybrid solutions in Vision and RFID technologies.
- Project Management: Proven track record in managing project costs, timelines, resources, vendors, contracts, and change requests.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with software development processes; ability to translate client needs into technical solutions.
- Organizational Skills: Proactive, well-organized, and able to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Certifications: PMP certification is a strong advantage.
Candidates with less related experience could be considered as Assistant Project Manager.
