Associate Attorney - Construction Transactions and Litigation

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is looking for a motivated associate attorney with 1-4 years of experience to join their Construction practice group in Nashville. This is a growth-oriented position with a clear pathway for advancement within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent owners and developers in complex construction projects from planning through completion.
• Handle both transactional and litigation matters, including construction disputes.

Qualifications:

• Construction Disputes: Some experience in defending clients in construction litigation, including delay claims, liens, compensation issues, and quality of work. Courtroom and deposition experience is preferred.
• Construction Transactions: Familiarity with the planning, negotiation, design, and construction phases of complex projects.
• Strong Academics: Excellent academic credentials; a transcript is required.
• Construction Background: Previous experience in the construction industry or a pre-law background is preferred but not mandatory.
• Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills with experience in complex legal drafting for both transactional and litigation contexts. A writing sample is required.
