Role description:

Packing - Responsible for managing the packaging operation in order to pack product to the correct quality and model stock, to optimize productivity, utilizing the equipment in a safe and effective manner achieving installed capacity.

Warehouse - Organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and despatch of warehoused goods including the management of model stock. Manage forklifts to ensure they are reliable, optimally utilized and retains long term value.

Required Skills and qualifications:

Relevant Bachelors Degree / Diploma or equivalent

5+ years operations, packing and warehouse experience

3+ years at management level

Computer literacy

Operations, Budgeting & Cost management

Analytical & Problem solving

People & Team management

Planning

Safety Management

Surveillance Skills

Inventory Control

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Packing to consistent pack presentation and product profile.

All packed products must comply with the agreed product specification.

Ensure reduced damages of product within packing

Optimise packing efficiency of all packers and ensure OEE benchmarks are achieved all times.

Reduce waste, spillage and rejections of products.

Job card management

Loss of production hours managed and reduced

Provide a flexible, reliable and efficient service and good communication.

Optimize variable and fixed costs

Stock management to ensure loss control.

Ensure weight of packed products is in compliance with PMC standards and better than Trade Metrology Standards.

Ensure reduced damages of product with the warehouse

Ensure Forklift useful live is optimized to balance operating profit and resale value.

Optimize forklift variable and fixed costs without long term loss of resale value or reliability

Ensure Driver behaviour drives down costs while still maintaining customer service and long term forklift value

Ensure Customer Service standards are met flexible, reliable, efficient and cost effective service with fast turnaround time and good communication

Ensure accurate planning.
