Summary
Our client, a rapidly growing logistics provider, is seeking a highly motivated Director of Business Development to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen the company's market presence. This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who excels at identifying, pursuing, and closing new business across transportation modes including truckload, LTL, intermodal, and specialized logistics. You'll focus exclusively on sourcing, winning, and onboarding new customers that align with the company's service capabilities.

Compensation
Pay: $100,000 base + uncapped commissions
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities
Identify and close new business opportunities across truckload, LTL, intermodal, and specialized logistics
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building
Lead client onboarding to ensure a seamless handoff from sales to operations
Collaborate with internal teams to create customized logistics solutions that address customers needs
Track and analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue goals
Travel as needed for client visits, events, and prospecting

Required Qualifications
4+ years of proven success in B2B logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or supply chain sales
Strong track record of building and expanding mid-to-large enterprise accounts
Deep understanding of supply chain operations and logistics solutions
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven, hunter mentality
Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
Drivers license required
Fluent in English
