Job Description:
As a Sales Executive, you will directly generate revenue and drive new business by growing and developing your sales funnel, building relationships, and closing sales. You will also work collaboratively with internal personnel and management to support the customers you bring to the organization operationally. Success in this role requires persistence, resilience, being proactive, and a strong desire to not only meet but exceed your goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue by onboarding new clients
  • Build relationships with prospective clients
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
  • Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
  • Conduct pricing, rate negotiations, and manage RFPs
  • Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
  • Maintain open communication with the operations team
  • Analyze clients' supply chains to expand service offerings
  • Actively generate new sales leads and convert them to revenue-generating accounts
  • Travel as needed

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of 3PL/Logistics/freight brokerage sales experience
  • Experience in the full sales cycle, including deal closing
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Annual book of business revenue of $5m - $20m preferred minimum of $1M
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive problem-solver, seeking to partner with customers and carriers to find solutions
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and a self-starter
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of operations preferred
  • Experience in Expedited Air is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
